Mrs. Jimmie Mae Nipp of 629 3rd N.W., Paris formerly of Honey Grove died at 8:25 a.m., Friday, March 4, 1983 at Grove Manor Nursing Home in Honey Grove. She had been in failing health for several years.

Graveside services were held Sunday, March 6, 1983 at 2 o'clock p.m. at Forest grove Cemetery in Telephone, with Cooper-Sorrells in charge of arrangements. The Rev. Elmo Strickland officiated.

Pallbearers were Junior Lee Page, Hershel Chappell, Dennis Scott, Don Kirby, Leroy Taylor and Curtis Curry.

Mrs. Nipp was born on May 19, 1896 in Terrell, Oklahoma to Johnny Wade and Minnie Stiggins. She married Eugene Henry Nipp on September 23, 1911 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Mr. Nipp preceded her in death on Sept. 22, 1979. Mrs. Nipp was a member of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Pinkney Chappell of Paris; Mrs. Minnnie Lee Hulsey of Lompoc, California; Mrs Opal Scott of Arlington; Mrs. Betty Piland of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 45 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
