OBITUARY :
CLYDE L. BARNHART, SR., 66, of Hagerstown Route 6, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Waynesboro Hospital on Monday morning.

He was born at Zullinger and was a son of Milton W. and Grace M. Gossard Barnhart.

He had farmed in the Waynesboro area. Prior to his retirement in 1966 he had been employed at Landis Company for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Reed Barnhart; the following children: Clyde L., Jr. of Chambersburg Rt. 2, Mrs. James Stowell of Forestville, Md., Robert F. of Waynesboro Rt. 3, Paul R. and Mrs. David Hoffman both of Waynesboro, Mrs. Edwin Mohn of Quincy, Mrs. Elmer N. Myers of Hanover Rt. 5; 23 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brothers, the Rev. Charles Barnhart of Fayetteville Rt. 2, Austin of Waynesboro, Milton, Jr. of Zullinger; sister, Mrs. Pauline Gates of Waynesboro Rt. 1.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro. The Rev. Elwood Bair will officiate; burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mont Alto, Pa.

Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
