GEORGE BEATTY DIES AFTER SHORT ILLNESS
George W. Beatty, 67 years old died Monday at the home of his brother-in-law, Dr. William M. Baird of Atlanta after a short illness. Mr. Beatty was for over thirty years in the employ of the Pennsylvania railroad residing in Pittsburgh. He was a native of New Jersey and a son of the late Senator George H. Beatty of that state. His wife the daughter of the late Senator Silverthorn died last August. Mr. Beatty's body was taken immediately to his former residence at Sewickley Penn for interment.
