Mrs. Chiles leaves to mourn their loss besides her children, one brother, Aultie Allen, Lorenz [Laurens] Iowa and one sister, Matilda, Mrs. Walter Dietz of Fort Dodge, Ia,, fifteen grandchildren, and a large number of relatives and friends.

Mrs. Chiles during the latter years of her life suffered a great deal of bodily pain but through it all she was patient and cheerful. She was always considerate of the welfare of others.

She was a faithful wife and mother. She loved her home and her children, and her children loved her.

Mrs. Chiles was unselfish in disposition, and charitable to all. Her remembrance in her own handiwork, given to the church, and to the minister's home cannot be forgotten. She loved goodness; and this quality of character is reflected n the lives of her children. This is a heritage more valuable than gold. Her life was well lived.

In the valley of the shadow, she was not afraid, for to her it was not death to die.

Funeral services were held by A. N. Simpson in the Norwalk Church of Christ.

Interment was in the Linn Grove Cemetery.
