Remains of Jerome Doty Buried on Wednesday Afternoon
The remains of Jerome Doty, who died Monday in a Lima, Ohio, hospital, following a ten days of sickness of pneumonia, were brought to Portland Wednesday morning and taken to the home of his son-in-law, O.C. Fraser and wife, West Votaw Street. Funeral services were held from the home Wednesday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock in charge of Rev. Fred Stovenour and internment was made in Green Park Cemetery. Among the following relatives were in attendance at the services a brother, Lewis H. Doty and wife of Sharpsville, two sons, Frank Doty of Richmond, Jacob Doty of Ridgeville and a niece, Mrs. William Stoltz of Tipton.
