Florence was the daughter of Jackson Roach and Amanda Austin. Florence married Andrew Crouch in Anderson County on 21 November 1889 and had one son Andrew J. Crouch. Mr. Crouch died prior to 1900. She married 2nd to James Randal Lacy.
