Betty Beaumont Actkinson, age 75, of San Antonio, died on Tuesday, November 26, 2002. She was a supervisor for 25 years with the San Antonio Independent School District. She served on the Board of Directors for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and authored several mathematics textbooks. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, the SAMM Shelter, Manna, 4th Street Inn, and a Sunday School teacher.

Her brother, John Noah Noll, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, John W. "Dub" Actkinson; sons, John Ernest, Jerry Lee and James Noah Beaumont; 13 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. The family received friends on Friday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North. Services were held on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. in the Porter Loring North Chapel, with the Rev. Virgil Powell officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Hahn-Cook Street and Draper.

Service will be Tuesday, 10:00 am at Hahn-Cook Street and Draper, 6006 N. Grand, with interment following in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a church or charity of choice. Arrangements are with: Porter Loring Mortuary, East San Antonio, TX
