Obit of Henry Dredge
Funeral services for Henry Dredge were held at 2 o'clock on Sunday afternoon in Klinck's funeral chapel, condutcted by Rev. John H. Clark. "Beautiful Isle," "Only a Shadow Between" and "He Knows All" were sung by Jack and Armando Ghitalla and Rev. Clark with Mrs. Alick Hickman as organist.
Interment was in the Knoxville cemetery, and the casket bearers were the four sons of the deceased, Fred, Orvalle, George and Floyd Dredge.
Henry Dredge, a lifelong resident of this community, died on Thursday at his home, southwest of Knoxville. He was born in Mercer county April 1, 1858, the son of Joseph and Isabel French Dredge. He was the last member of his family. His parents, two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
He was married to Clara Hutson of Cedar Township February 15, 1888. His wife survives, with four sons; Fred, Floyd, Orvalle and George of near Knoxville, and one daughter Mrs. J. W. Alexander of Grosse Pointe, Michigan; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
