Rites for Mrs. Clara Hutson Dredge, Knoxville, were conducted at the Klinck Mortuary on Sunday(Aug. 10) afternoon at 2 o'clock. Presiding was Rev. John H. Clark with Mrs. E. A. Jensen, Mrs. Charles Beaver and Mrs. Lex Sherwood singing, accompanied by Mrs. Floyd Peterson.
Pallbearers were Thomas Moorehead, Donald Dredge, Bernard Rosine, Rolland Gustafson, Paul and Dale Dredge. Burial was in the Knoxville Cemetery.
Clara Hutson Dredge a lifelong resident of Knox County was 84 years of age at the time of her death. She was wed to Henry Dredge February 15, 1888 whose death occurred January 29, 1942.
There are five children; Floyd E., Knoxville; Orpha Alexander, Detroit; Orvalle H. on the home farm; Fred M., Galesburg and George E. south of Knoxville. There are 11 grandchildren nd five great grandchildren. Three sisters Mrs. Fannie Lenz, Alburqueque, NM; Mrs. Eva Smith and Mrs. Lennie Griffith both south of Galesburg, and a brother(Robert)John Hutson, Central City, NB also survive.
