Mrs. ACKLEY Rites Held

Funeral services were scheduled for today at 1 p.m. for Mrs. George ACKLEY who died early Saturday morning at the Park View Care Center.

Services were held at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. ACKLEY had been in failing health for several years prior to her death Saturday.

Maude R. ACKLEY, 77, was born Sept. 9, 1897, in Henry County. She was the daughter of Joshua and Victoria LILLYBLADE VAN WINKLE.

Her marriage to George E. ACKLEY took place June 24, 1920. He died Aug. 21, 1961.

Mrs. ACKLEY had lived in the Fairfield community for over 40 years and was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include three sons, Roger, Cedar Rapids; George, Kirksville, Mo.; and Donald, Lathrop, Mo.; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild; also three brothers, Arthur and Waldo VAN WINKLE, both of Wayland; and Tilford, Mount Pleasant.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.
