JOSEPHINE PONTIOUS, 83, died Sunday at Cloverleaf Healthcare Center in Hemet. Born in Salt Lake City, Mrs. Pontious lived in Hemet seven years. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Sid of Hemet; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lehan (sic Leland) Wallberg of Utah and Darrel Wallberg; and three sisters, Phyllis McDonald, Jenny Wallberg and Bonnie Chambless, all of Utah.
Services will be private. Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet is handling arrangements.
