PANHANDLE - Purl Joseph Meaker, 81, died February 21.
Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, Pampa, with Rev. Darrel Rains, First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Panhandle Cemetery in Panhandle with Masonic graveside services.
Mr. Meaker lived in Panhandle from 1909 until 1939, when he moved to Pampa. He was owner and operator of Purl Meaker Refrigeration Service and Appliance. He was a member of Pampa Masonic Lodge No. 966 and First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nora Alice; two sons, Cleo and Earl, both of Pampa; a brother, Charles of Panhandle; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
