Mrs. Spann, 73, Taken In Death
Mrs. Letty Anderson Spann, 73, widow of R. P. Spann, route 1, Harmony, died at 6 a.m. today at the Iredell County Home, where she had been a patient for the past four and one-half years.
She was a native of Wilkes County, born May 21, 1886, the daughter of the late N. R. and Levina Johnson Anderson. Her husband died several years ago.
Mrs. Spann is survived by one brother, John Anderson, route 2, Wilkesboro, and a number of nieces and nephews in this area.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body remains at Bunch Funeral Home pending funeral plans.

SPANN RITES HELD
Funeral services for Mrs. Letty Anderson Spann, 73, route 1, Harmony, were conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Bethel Methodist Church near Harmony by Rev. W. L. Harkey and burial followed in the church cemetery. Mrs. Spann died Saturday morning at the county home.
