Cochran – Henry J. "Jere" DuPree, age 81, died Sunday in the Medical Center in Macon. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. in Rose Hill Cemetery in Macon.
Mr. DuPree, born in Byron, had lived in Macon before moving to Cochran 15 years ago. He was the son of the late Emmett Jerome DuPree and Doris Haddock DuPree Wesley. He was a retired engineer with Tindall Concrete Inc. after 37 years of service, a US Army Veteran and was a member of Sons of Confederate Veterans.
