Mrs. Emma Pormen
Mrs. Emma F. Pormen 95, a resident of Rock Creek Township, Huntington County died at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Friendly Nursing Home. She had been a patient there for 15 months. A resident of Huntington County since 1898, she was a member of the Majenica Christian Church.
Born to Adam and Nancy Stotler Welker on Nov. 11, 1874, she married Alpheus L. Pormen on Oct. 2, 1898 in Majenica. He
died Jan. 7, 1935.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Wilbur (Doris) Bowman, Rt. 5 Huntington, two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the H. Brown and Son Funeral Home, Warren, after 7 p.m. Thursday, where services will 'be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Richard Gantz, Saginaw, Mich., officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Cemetery.
Services for Mrs. Emma F. Pormen were held at 10:30 a.m Saturday at the H. Brown and Son Funeral Home in Warren with Rev. Richard Gants officiating.
Pallbearers were Dale Bowman, Alden Hollewell. Howard Harris, Ben Vendrick, Glenn Drabenstot and Dale Bonewitz. Burial was in Lancaster Cemetery.
