A former carrier for The Advocate with 17 years of service, she died at 2:50 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010, at her home. She was 49, a resident and native of Baton Rouge.

Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Sunday, June 27, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home chapel Monday, June 28, from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Mike Schatzle.

Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

She is survived by a sister, Patti Tucker and husband Edwin; three brothers, Randy P. Babin and wife Patsy, Scotty Babin and Faron Babin; nieces, Dawn Fugarino and husband Robert, Rochelle Babin Pace, Maegann Tucker and Amber Babin; two great-nieces, Bailey Fugarino and Peyton Stokes; and a great-nephew, Brennan Fugarino.

Preceded in death by her parents, Munson P. and Shirley P. Babin; maternal grandparents, Clay Sr. and Eloise Parent; and paternal grandparents, Octave and Metilda Babin. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church.
