Patricia "Patty" Rose Babbs, 71, of Glenwood, passed away at 12:45 AM, on June 27, 2010 at Rushville, Indiana.

Babbs was born October 21, 1938 in Rushville, IN to Francis Hankins and Eva (Rose) Hankins. Patty married Robert Babbs October 6, 1956 and he survives.

She was a homemaker Patty was graduated from RHS in the Class of 1956. She lived most of her life in the Glenwood and Rush County areas.

Patty leaves husband, Robert Edward Babbs of Glenwood, IN and three sons, Bryon(Shirley) Edward Babbs of Freeport, Florida, Allen (Luella) Babbs of Georgetown, Indiana and Andy (Merisha) Babbs of Rushville, IN She also leaves one daughter Rose Anna Babbs of Shelbyville and significant other, Bobby Cline. She is survived by several grandchildren and several great grandchildren

She is preceded by one son (Johnnie Babbs in April 2003)and two brothers (Darrell Leon & Larry Francis) and two sisters (Vicky S. (Hankins) Taylor & Kay DeBoard).

Visitations: 12:00PM to 1:00PM on Wednesday, June 30th, 2010 at Moster Mortuary

Patricia "Patty" Rose Babbs, 71, of Glenwood, passed away June 27, 2010. Born Oct. 21, 1938 in Rushville, she was the daughter of Francis and Eva (Rose) Hankins. She married Robert Babbs Oct. 6, 1956; he survives.

Patty was a 1956 graduate of Rushville High School. She lived most of her life in the Glenwood and Rush County areas.

Survivors in addition to her husband include sons, Bryon (Shirley) Edward Babbs of Freeport, Fla., Allen (Luella) Babbs of Georgetown, and Andy (Merisha) Babbs of Rushville; daughter, Rose Anna Babbs of Shelbyville (and significant other, Bobby Cline); several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Johnnie Babbs, in April 2003; two brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Moster Mortuary in Rushville with Don Heller officiating.

Friends may call from noon until time of service Wednesday at the mortuary.
