Mrs. Elma, wife of J.H. Cammack, died on the 6th inst., of spinal meningitis, aged 39 years. This was a sudden death, and unexpected. It reminds us that "in the midst of life we are in death." Mrs. Cammack was a member of the Friends church, where the funeral was preached on Saturday, at 11 a.m., and the remains were kept until the arrival of the evening train, on which was her father and other friends from Indiana, when she was interred in Mount Hope cemetery. She leaves a husband and seven children to mourn her untimely death. The afflicted family has the sympathy of the entire community.
