Funeral service for Edna May Dudley will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 29, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Rev. Terrell Romberg officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Edna died Thursday, June 24, 2010, at Wood Manor Nursing Home at the age of 83.
The daughter of Albert Vincent and Mamie Melinda (Perkett) Ary was born Jan. 6, 1927, in Prague. On Sept. 4, 1946, she married Delmer Elbert Dudley in Columbus, Kan. She worked as a waitress and a cook at Linger Longer, Dot's Cafe, Poly & Gales, and Howard Johnsons.
Edna is preceded in death by her husband, son, Ernest, parents, three brothers, sister, Wanda Russell, and two great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters: Joyce Perry and husband, Chuck of Claremore, Linda Whisenhunt and husband, Curry of DeVine, Texas, and Cinda Vaughan and husband, Dennis of Claremore; son, John Dudley and wife, Del Jean of Claremore; brother, Bob Ary of Washington; sister-in-law, Marion Ary of Texas; 17 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
