North - Services for Luther W. Amaker, 63, of Rt. 1 Box 708 AZ Rd., will be held at 3 p.m. today at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with interment in Bull Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. The Revs. Jack Poole and David Covington will officiate. Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home is in charge. Mr. Amaker died January 16, 2000. A native of Calhoun County, he was a son of the late John B. and Luxora Zeigler Amaker. He retired from South Carolina National Bank and was a member of the Wesely Chapel United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Miriam Mack Amaker; son Wayne Cole of Lexington; brothers, William Amaker of Columbia, Julius Amaker of Swansea. © The State, Columbia, SC, 18 Jan 2000
