My Dad was the third son of John Henry Heindl and Margaret Truebenbach.
John married Beulah B. Smith of Frenchburg, Ky. on July 12, 1930 in Richmond, Indiana. They were blessed with 7 children: Phyllis Jean, Betty Joann, Janet Louise, William, Robert Earl, Lynda Sue and Ronald Lee Heindl.
He was a farmer, a school bus mechanic and driver for Lanier Twp. School and owner
/operator of Heindl's Garage and Shell Service Station on Enterprise Rd., West Alexandria, for many years.
After John and Beulah divorced in 1957, he married Edna Jo Gordon on March 8, 1958.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Jo; one daughter, Lynda Sue Wise; two step-sons, Gregg and Dan Gordon; 3 granddaughters: Robin, Cindy, and Dawn; 5 step grand-children; and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his children, Phyllis, Joann, Janet, William, Bobby and Ronnie Heindl; and a brother, Arthur J. Heindl.
