OBITUARY
Died at the home of her grandparents, July 27, 1899, little Addie Lee, infant daughter of Charley and Lee Arment, aged 10 months and 20 days. After two long weeks of untold suffering, little Addie passed away. I do not think that for ten short months a sweeter gem ever decked an earthly home. She leaves to mourn her loss a fond father and mother, one little sister and many relatives, and we do earnestly extend our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy to those bereaved ones, and we earnestly pray that while they feel that the hand of God is heavily upon them, may they also be enabled to feel that it is in love and wisdom that He has called her to be one of His brighter gems in our Saviour's kingdom. May those beautiful eyes that looked so lovingly and pleadingly into ours in her extreme suffering ever be pleading and beckoning her loved ones to heaven. May her sweet life that brightened their home for ten months with it presence make bright their lives with christian love, which will lead into that brighter and happier home, where she has gone to swell.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Botsford, of Edina, at Harmony church, after which the remains of little Addie were laid to rest in Harmony grave yard, to await the resurrection day, when we all hope to meet where parting will never come.
Another little lamb has gone
To swell with him above.
Another little darling babe
Is sheltered in the grave.
God needed one more angel child
Amidst his shining band,
And so he bent his loving smile,
And clasped our darling's hand.
