Obituary.

Died at its home near Hedge City, March 14, 1901, little Ernest Armit [sic], infant son of Charley and Lee Armit [sic], aged five months and twenty-one days. It was a precious jewel called from earth to heaven where no sickness, pain or sorrow can ever come. Shining among the white robed throng, a spotless lamb, awaiting father, mother, and sisters, on that eternal shore. We extend to those bereaved parents our deepest and heartfelt sympathy, and may God, our Father, enable them to feel that their loss is its gain, and may they turn trustingly to Him who alone can help in the hour of sorest need. "Come unto me all ye that are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest, take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and holy in heart and you shall find rest unto your souls."

Our precious little babe has gone,
The voice we loved is still,
Its place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.

Another little lamb has gone,
To dwell with him who gave;
Another little darling babe
Is sheltered in the grave.

God needed one more angel child
Amidst his shining band,
And so he bent his living smile,
And clasped our darling's hand.

He in his wisdom has realized,
The boon his love has given,
And though the body is smouldering here,
The soul is safe in heaven.

A FRIEND.
