Lorraine Edenfield, 78, of Waco, passed away at a local hospital Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 26, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, with Pastor David Cozart officiating. Burial will follow at Riesel Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Blanche Lorraine was born in Iredell, Texas, to the late David DeWitt and Blanche Marie Royal. She worked for Owens Illinois Glass Plant for 25 years.
Lorraine was preceded in death by four brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Vernon Edenfield; sons, Steve Kent and wife, Gay, and Rick Edenfield and wife, Sherry; daughters, Judy Kent Jones and husband, Mike, Sandra Renner and husband, Kenneth, and Vickie Bland and husband, Ernie; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Darrel Royal, of Montgomery, Texas; sister, Marie Brooks, of Tennessee; as well as many other relatives and numerous friends.
