Born in Center, Oklahoma to Elbert Walter and Tuga May (Smith) Townsley. Married O'Bannon Creek in 1929 (he died in 1939) and Married Winnie L. Richeson in December, 1947. One Daughter, Annie Marie (1948)(Louis Seibel) Three grandaughters: Vanessa (1971)(Joseph Bross), Marisa (Chris Miller)(1977) and Jana (1978)(Colin Smysor). Eight great-grandchildren: Hayley(1994), Nathaniel(1996), Kendra(2000), Aspen (2002), Kaitlyn (2006),Alexander (2008)and Kamea (2010, Samuel Issac (2013).
