Little Gertrude was very bright, cheerful, and womanly, and was the pride of her home. Those who knew her best spoke of her in the highest terms. The funeral was conducted by the writer at the cemetery near Forbes, Sunday, July 26th, and was largely attended. May he who said "suffer little children to come into me" comfort the bereaved ones.
