Services for Mrs. Rozella (Rose) B. Rainey, 85, 901 Ridenhanph street, will be at 1:30 Friday in the chapel of the Meierhoffer-Fleeman mortuarv. Dr. William G. Shoop will officiate and interment will be at Memorial Park cemetery. Mrs. Rainey died Wednesday afternoon at a nursing home here. A native of Fayetteville, Ind., she had lived here 70 years. Five years ago she retired as a saleslady at Mattingly Bros. Store, and prior to that worked in the same capacity at the United Department Store. She was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. John C. Whitson, St Joseph; one son, Norman Rainey, Topeka; one half-brother, Paul Kern, Orlando,. Fla.: three grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. Her son, Kern Rainey, died 12 years ago.
