Mrs. Myrtle Mitchell Edmondson, 75, 1251 S. Madison Ave., Monroe, died April 17 in Walton County Hospital.

Funeral services were held April 19 at 4 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Christian Church with the Rev. Justus Garrett, assisted by Sid Woodruff, officiating, Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Phil Hannay, Mike Edmondson, Phillip Correll, Johnny Peppers, Tim Weldon and Hulon Edmondson.

Mrs. Edmondson was the daughter of the late Jim and Susan Hale Mitchell and wife of the late Robert Roy Edmondson. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Christian Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Miss Hazel Elizabeth Edmondson, Mrs. Mary Nell Fisher and Mrs. Danny (Shirley) Weldon, all of Monroe, and Mrs. Bennie (Peggy) Jenkins, Covington, and three sons, John L. Edmondson, James R. (Bud) Edmondson, and Jimmy Lee Edmondson, all of Monroe.

Meadows Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
