Tessie Peck Larson Lewis, age 85, passed away May 25, 2000 in Kaysville, Utah.

Born January 26, 1915 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Richard Carl and Margaret Saunders Peck. Married Maurice Ludvig Larson January 26, 1934 in the Salt Lake Temple; he preceded her in death. Married Boyd Elmer Lewis in West Valley City, Utah. Active member of the LDS Church where she served a stake mission in Salt Lake City and to the Florida Tallahassee Mission with her husband, Boyd. Served as ward and stake chorister, Primary President and Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed the many hours of service she rendered at the Jordan River Temple. She was a great mother, artist, poet and author. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survived by husband, Boyd; children, Dixie (Thedore) Allen, Tremonton; Dutch (Gay) Larson, West Warren; Geraldine (Gordon) Holbrook, North Salt Lake; Theo Larson, Salt Lake City; Sunny (Wendell) Peery, Kaysville; Timothy (Naomi) Larson, Taylorsville; stepson, Leslie (Alayna) Lewis, Heber City; 50 grandchildren; sister, Mavis Larson, American Fork. Preceded in death by husband, Maurice; daughters, Joysa DeAun, Tessie Dawn, Connie Marie Wilson; sons, LaMonte Maurice Larson, Kit Cardell Larson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 10 a.m. at the Granger 10th Ward, 3274 Hillsdale Drive (2760 West). Friends may call Tuesday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, American Fork Cemetery. Under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
