DIED.
On Tuesday, at his home about 8 miles south of Kirksville, Mr. Abel Stucky. He had a stroke of paralysis and died during the night. He was quite a prominent citizen, coming here about 1841. He came within six votes of being elected sheriff in 1844 when Adair, Schuyler and Putnam were all one. He was Probate Judge at one time. He was buried yesterday at Millard.
