Beryl Modenia Harris
COOPER - Beryl Modenia Harris, 85, formerly of Cooper, died Saturday, May 2, at Doctors Hospital, Dallas.
Services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, May 4, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Eldon Haley officiating. Burial was to be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Harris was born March 16, 1907, in Delta County, a daughter of Hilbert and Laura Stoddard Dawson. She married Ollie Harris in 1925. He died in 1985. She lived in Delta county until five years ago when she moved to the Heritage Place Nursing Home.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Henley and Joyce Childs, both of Dallas; a sister, Virginia Wright of Cooper, three grandchildren, Roy Fain and Karen Taylor, both of Mesquite and Cindy Bos of LaHabra, Calif. and four great-grandchildren.
