Sudie Virginia Dawson Wright (Ganna), 98 of Cooper, passed away August 9, 2016 In Cooper surrounded by loved ones.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 13,2016 at Delta Funeral Home Chapel At 10:00 AM. Visitation will be from 6PM to 8PM, Friday evening, August 12,2016 at Delta Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Kaleb Wright and Michael Morgan will officiate.
Virginia was bom in Cedar Creek to Hilbert & Laura Dawson, January 4,1918.
She married Delbert Wright on June 12,1937. She followed the Lord in her callings as a strong daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, friend and seamstress. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Klondike.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Wright, Daughter, Susan Kay Wright, brothers, Howard and Weldon Dawson, sister, Beryl Dawson Harris, Son-in-law, Billy Jeter, granddaughter, Debrah Kay Jeter and two great-grandchildren, Stephanie Palmer and Travis Rushing.
Virginia is survived by four children: Carole Wilson of Lewisville, Robert Wright and wife, Sue of Cooper, Randy Wright of Cooper, Judi Williams and husband,
Jerry of Lindale. Eight grandchildren: Kelly Orr, Sabrina Jones, Jason Jeter,
Ken Wright, Barbara Phillips, John Williams, Kaleb Wright and Kamie James.
Sixteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Williams, Dakota Wright, Hunter Wright, Garrett Rushing, Ken Wright and Bryan Smith.
