Betty R. Laney

Betty R. Laney, 70, of Rogersville, Mo., passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 19, 2010. She was born September 19, 1939, in Camden County, Mo., to Emmitt and Eda (Ash) Foster.

Betty enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She loved her family most of all.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving Betty is her husband, R.B. Laney; daughters, Engla Pickett and husband Larry, Carla Backlin and husband Dave, and Marlene Frazo; sons, Hubert Laney, Ralph Laney and wife Mary; brothers and sisters, Bernise Wiseman, Wayne Foster, Laura Ingram, Mary Goldie, Wilma Darlington, Lucy Miller; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Thursday, June 24, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, Mo. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 25, 2010, at 10 a.m. in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home Chapel with the interment to follow in Marshfield Cemetery, Marshfield, Mo.
