Maydge is the daughter of William (Bill) Pleas and Grace Elizabeth (Lissie) (Hurst) (Roe) Napier. Maydge died at the age of 15 years and 11 months, from ruptured appendix. I was nine years old when my aunt Maydge died. She had beautiful red hair and lots of freckles on her face.
They took her body to their home and kept her in the living room until the burial. I can remember my grandfather calling her his "Little Angel". Maydge is buried close to her brother, Millard, and their father, William (Bill) Pleas Napier. Maydge, Millard and grandpa Bill had a rock with initials for a stone. Our family bought grandpa Bill a new stone and in a few months we will buy Maydge and Millard stones too.
