I was only one year old when my uncle Millard died. From some Newspaper articles it states that Millard was drinking with some of his buddies and demanded that a man named Hankins sell them more liquor. Hankins refused to sell them drinks, told them to leave his property, and went in the house for his gun. When Millard would not listen and jumped the fence, Hankins warned him again and when he would not leave, Hankins shot and killed him. Millard was 24 years old when he died. He is buried close to his sister, Maydge Ruth Napier and his father William (Bill) Pleas Napier.
