Vilate Tippets Widmer

OGDEN - Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Emma Vilate Tippets Widmer, age 82, passed away November 17, 2004. Vilate was born May 9, 1922 to John Harvey Tippets and Irene Smith in Georgetown, Idaho. She married David Widmer on June 29, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple and together they are the parents of two sons and two daughters. Vilate graduated from LDS Business College and worked as a legal secretary for many years and retired from H.A.F.B.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many teaching and administrative positions. Vilate had a beautiful alto singing voice and sang for many years with friends in a triple trio group.
