Laurine Voorhees Laier, 79, passed away on June 17, 2010 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo.

She was born August 13, 1930 in Mayfield to Austin M. and Anna Devoda Anderson Voorheese. She married Gale R. Laier on November 26, 1949 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

She is survived by: husband, Gale; children, Karen (Kerry) Sorenson, Kelly (Barbara) Laier, Linda (Chris) Williams; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Faatz and Valine Christiansen; brother Don (Shyrel) Voorhees. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Velma Weight, Helen Thomas, Ross Voorhees.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. in the Salina Stake Center, 98 West 400 North. Friends may call at the Stake Center in Salina on Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Burial will be in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery.
