Services Are To Be Sunday For Pioneer

Funeral rites will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Gracemont High School auditorium for Mrs. Cora Elisabeth Harrison, 78, who died at her home near Grademont Monday.

Rev. Bardy Garret will officiate and burial will be in the Gracemont Cemetery under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.

Mrs. Harrison was born June 11, 1872 in Ashville, N.C., and married John [Caswell] Harrison, Sr., May 24, 1888. She joined the Baptist Church in Union County, Ga. Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by one child.

Survivors are her husband, several sons, William, Leonard, Judson, Alonzo, J.C., Jr and Raymond, Gracemont and Maurice, Peoria, Ariz.

Four daughters, Mrs. C. R. Johnston, McAllen, Texas; Mrs. Bill Wilson, Plainview, Texas; Mrs. Judson Rodgers, Oakland, Calif.; and Mrs. Joe Embrey, Orland, Calif., 45 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
