A daughter of Hiram Taylor Wheat and Elizabeth Richards Wheat, she and Mr. Williams were married on January 3, 1894, and to this union was born seven children -- Mrs. Mary Coffey of Columbus, Ind., Lawrence Williams of Russell Springs, Mrs. Sally Hudson of Indianapolis, Mrs. Eula Coffey of Russell Springs, Mrs. Cecile Bradshaw of Russell Springs, Mrs. Nannie Willard Grider of Eminence, Ind., and Hollis Williams of Indianapolis, Ind.
In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ann Coffey of Montpelier and Mrs. Dorinda Coffey of Russell Springs.
Mrs. Williams confessed her faith in Christ many years ago in the old log church at Providence.
Funeral services were held Sunday morning at Oak Grove Church conducted by Bro. Ernest Dixon and Bro. Hubbard. Burial was in the Williams Cemetery, with Rippetoe Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
