SHEARS --- Mr. Otis H. Shears, aged 77, of Grant, and life time resident and veteran of WWI passed away Sunday. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs.Glenn (Virginia) Palmer of Muskegon, Mrs. Carol (Caroline) Anderson of Ravenna, five sons, Robert of Chelsey, Albert, Alfred, and Franklin all of Grant, Otis Jr. of Sparta, 21 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, two sisters Mrs. Ola Rood of Belding and Mrs. Edith Krontz of Centerville. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m.from the MccKinley Funeral Home in Grant, Rev. C.J. Halquist officiating. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
