Collier Wingate

The community was greatly shocked at the untimely death, last Monday of Collier Wingate, who resided on the Bay Shore Rd. Mr. Wingate was the brother of Mrs. O. B. Stewart of Port Clinton. The last day that Mr. Wingate was able to be about his work at the United States Gypsum Company was Tuesday, October 15. That night he was taken serious ill with pneumonia and his condition seemed to grow gradually worse until, Monday at noon, when he passed away.

Mr. Wingate leaves to mourn his death a wife, Mattie; two sons Kenneth and Harold, and one little daughter (Kathleen). He also leaves six sisters and his father, who are living at various places in the east and in Kentucky. The remains were taken to Kentucky Wednesday and interment will be made there.
