Abraham P. Prescott of Mayo died Wednesday at Lafayette Health Care. He was 83.
Mr. Prescott was born in St. Augustine and moved to Mayo from Key West 24 years ago. He was a roofer and member of Brewer Lake Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Alice Prescott.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Ronnie Land of Mayo; two sisters, Dorothy Nelson and Thelma Amaker, both of St. Augustine; a brother, Woodrow "Bill" Prescott of California; a grandchild and great-grandchild.
