DEATH OF MRS. IDA DORIS BITTNER.
On Monday of this week at her home in Jefferson township occurred the death of Mrs. Ida Doris Bittner, nee Morarend, after a short illness. Deceased was born March 18, 1860 in Jefferson township and was almost 52 years of age at the time of her death. She was married to Emanuel Bittner at Guttenberg, and they made their home on a farm in Jefferson township until her death. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her untimely death 3 sons and 1 daughter, namely Realto at Superior, Wis., and William, John and Roma at home, and a large number of relatives and friends. She was a kind and true wife and mother. The funeral was held today, burial at City Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
(Note that the obituary states she died "Monday of this week", which was Nov 13, while the gravestone has a death date of Nov 14.)
