Karl Kidd, 78, passed away June 11, 2010 in the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City.
He was born July 21, 1931 to Lavinia Chlarson and Mosiah Kidd. Karl met Betty Anderson at the age of 34 and they got married Oct. 8, 1965.
He lived a long life filled with hard work and strong values. He had a great sense of humor and joked with everyone. Everybody who knew him had a story to tell about him. He worked 30 years for D.E. Cassida before he retired. He loved to garden, work on trucks and see how things work. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his mother, father and wife, and his brothers and sister; Dale, Don, Earl and Velma. He is survived by his children, Patricia (Tony) Sandberg, Steven Kidd, Susan Kidd, Craig Kidd, Gene Kidd, Karla Kidd, Shelly Kidd, Sandra Kidd, Gayla Kidd; grandchildren, Nathan, Connor, Dominique, K.J., Jamie, Jeffrey; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Mon., June 14, 2010 at Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
