Earl Alexander Kidd passed away Sept. 12, 2008, at the Ashley Regional Medical Center after a valiant fight with a lung illness. He was born to Mosiah and Lovina Chlarsen Kidd in Vernal on Jan. 2, 1933. He was 75.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Earl loved fishing, hunting and ranching. He worked for local ranchers in the area and stayed on the ranch only coming to town to cash a check, pick up supplies or visit his family and friends, Garry and Delee Bryant. He loved watching old westerns and war movies.

He is survived by a brother Karl (Betty) Kidd; sister-in-law Daisy Kidd; and many nieces and nephews whom loved him very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Velma; brothers, Don and Dale.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Sept. 16 at the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of Bishop Kirk Fleetwood of Ashley 1st Ward and Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.

Compassionate services were performed by Ashley 1st Ward Relief Society.
