Roy Blair married Helen Parish in 1941 in Young County, Texas.
He was a welder and had lived in the Olney area most of his life.
He entered the US Army in 1943 and trained at Camp Wolters and Camp Fannin. Blair served in the European Theater and was awarded the Victory, ETO, GCM and 5 Battle Stars.
Survived by his wife; three daughters - Mrs. Doug Gregory of Blanchard, OK, Mrs. John Campbell of Olney and Mrs. Raymond Tedrow of Megargel; one son - Roger Blair of Olney; one sister - Mrs. A.C. Lodes of Wichita Falls; four grandchildren.
