Mrs. Bessie Black Bruce age 96 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Sunday, October 20, 2002 at the Crossville Health Care.
Mrs. Bruce was a native of Dekalb County, AL, the daughter of H. B. and Lelia Weathingon Black. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Payne, AL and retired Teller from Compass Bank of Fort Payne, AL.
Mrs. Bruce is Survived by her Brother; H. B. Black, Jr. and Sister; Lora Graves both of Atlanta, GA., and several Nieces and Nephews.
Graveside service will be Monday, October 21, 2002 at 11am CDT at the Glenwood Cemetery with Dr. Pat McFadden officiating. The family request instead of flowers donations be made to the First Baptist Church
