Clara Marie Debusk, 91, of Sargent, died Monday at the Sargent hospital. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Rhoad Funeral Chapel in Sargent. The Rev. Steve Flader will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Sargent. Mrs. Debusk was born Jan. 21, 1893, in Dry Valley, south of Sargent, the daughter of Henry and Ingi Carlson Brodine. She received her education in Dry Valley and worked in a millinery before her marriage. On Dec. 25, 1912, she married James Arthur Debusk. They farmed south of Sargent. Mr. Debusk died in 1963. In 1969 she moved into Sargent. She had lived at the Sargent Nursing Home for about three years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sargent, the Rebekah Lodge and the War Mothers Chapter in Sargent. Survivors include two daughters, Doris Bauer of Exeter, Mo., and Ruth Stone of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sons, Leo of Sargent and Henry of Alliance; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and a brother, Harry Brodine of Los Angeles, Calif.
