In 1917 he graduated from the Harrington High School. World War II was raging and he joined the United States Army and served two years
He married Agnes Beatrice Snider on Christmas Day, 25 December 1919 Lincoln County, WA.
He farmed wheat over 45 years in the area of Harrington, WA.
He died in his farm home.
They had four children:

Shirley Williams Stafford
and
Jean Williams Andersch
