Chase on March 23, 1899, at Barclay. She was a member of the Haviland Friends Church and a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge.
Mrs. Chase was a former resident of Haviland and Greensburg, Kansas. She was a retired school teacher. Survivors included the widower, Frank 0. Chase; two sons, Athol C. Chase Sr. and Jack Chase; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Wadel and Mrs. Carrie Forree; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
